How can I access the apartments?

By car:
By car, guests arriving from the M25 can reach the property from Kerecsend via Demjén.

Arrivals from Eger can come from two directions. The easiest way to get to the apartments is to leave the M25 motorway at the roundabout towards Egerszalók, or to follow the Szalóki road out of town.

Long-distance bus:
The Egerszalok and Eger long-distance bus stop is just 100 metres away, right in front of the complex.

How can I park?
Parking is possible in our private outdoor car park, which is barriered and monitored by cameras. The installation of the barrier is in progress, so please always place the parking card in the safe box behind the windscreen. Parking is prohibited for non-hotel guests!

What are the priority periods?

The priority periods for apartments in 2024 are:

How do I create my reservation?

In any case, you can make your reservation by clicking on “Reservation” on the website and then follow the automatic booking instructions. If you wish to finalise your reservation directly with our agents, please send an e-mail to sales@salthill-apartments.hu.

Please note that your reservation is guaranteed only after the payment of the reservation amount and the sending of the confirmation e-mail. If you have not received an email, contact our colleagues at

What time can I check in and out?
The apartment can be booked from 14:00 on the day of arrival and is available until 10:00 on the day of departure, please contact our staff if you require a different time.
What is the tourist tax rate?
The tourist tax in Egerszalók is 500.-Ft/person/night and is only applicable to persons over 18 years of age. is payable for persons over the age of 65.
How do I get an invoice for the costs I have paid?

Upon receipt of the amount required for the booking, an online invoice will be issued and sent to the e-mail address provided at the time of booking in PDF format.

How can I cancel my booking?

Reservations can only be cancelled by written confirmation, please contact us at sales@salthill – apartmenst.hu.

In any case, please read carefully the cancellation conditions described in the confirmation e-mail.

How can I settle the price of my accommodation?

Currently, only advance payment of the accommodation fee and the tourist tax is possible. No cash will be accepted on site. You can pay by credit card or SZÉP card. If you experience any problems with the payment process, please contact us on +36 30 161 1155.

Please remember to include your booking reference number in the message box when initiating the transfer.

What documents will I need to collect the apartment?
  1. From 1 September, all guests, including infants and children, will be required to show a valid photo ID at check-in, in accordance with current legislation. The photo ID can be: an identity card, a driving licence in card form or a passport. ID cards scanned digitally at the reception desk are stored in the Guest Information Closed Database (VIZA) for up to two years. In the absence of a document, the hotel is obliged to refuse to provide accommodation.

Is it possible to accommodate a pet?

Bringing pets is strictly prohibited! A cleaning fee of HUF 100,000 will automatically be charged for any pet brought in despite the prohibition.

What kind of benefits am I entitled to?

The apartments are self-catering, each unit has its own modern, fully equipped kitchen. Full equipment is provided, from cutlery to cooking utensils.

Do you have a room with balcony or terrace?

The apartments have a balcony or terrace, only 2 units do not have a balcony.

Is there an apartment with a bath?

The bathrooms in the apartments are fitted with showers only.

Is it possible to smoke?
Smoking is prohibited in the apartments, please use the designated smoking area if you still wish to smoke.
What is included in the bathroom amanities?

The bathroom is equipped with 2 towels per person, bath towel, 1 set of toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, body lotion), soap, hairdryer, cosmetic tissue.

How far is the spa from the apartments?
The Nostalgia Spa is 150m from the apartments, and can be reached on foot or in a bathrobe.
When is the Nostalgia Spa open?

Sunday-Thursday: 9:30-23:00 (pool closes at 22:30)

Friday and Saturday: 9:30-01:00 (pool closes at 0:30)

Can I request an extra bed in the room?

Classic hotel extra beds are not available, in all cases you will be accommodated on a sofa bed with a guest bed function for an extra charge.

Can I request children's equipment in the apartments?

We are happy to provide a cot, children’s bedding, high chair, step stool, toilet seat and children’s cutlery for our youngest guests, free of charge.

Can I request special fittings for the apartments?

At the moment, flowers, champagne, wine, chocolates, and breakfast preparation are available. The cost of these services must be transferred in advance together with the accommodation fee when finalizing your booking.
